Cotu people has weaving bamboo furniture (basket, hunting tools...). Bamboo weaving is a long-standing traditional trade. Rattan, bamboo, neohouzeaua, lo o (a kind of bamboo with long stems and large leaves) and other creepers are abundant materials, and Cotu people use them to make items for daily use and production.

They can weave different devices such as papoose for jewelry and brocade, lidded papoose, papoose for girls, papoose that can carry traditional items to serve festivals and papoose to hold rice.
