About Ethnic Arts

Ethnic Arts is the first agent company in Central Vietnam, established in 2018, aiming to introduce and support marketing for sales of local specialties from ethnic minority groups of the areas.

Vietnam has 54 ethnic groups which have their own unique cultures and traditions, and some groups are already well-known, such as Muong in the Northern Vietnam for its beautiful hand weaving textiles. But those cultures and traditions of many other ethnic groups are in danger of being lost because of the widening gap between the rich and the poor, and the cities and remoted rural areas. 
In Central Vietnam, there have been great efforts of a Japanese NGO, the Foundation for International Development/Relief (FIDR), local governments and ethnic groups, mainly the Cotu, in Nam Giang district, Quang Nam province, to fight poverty and minimize the gap since 2001. Through the projects, local economy was grown and a feeling of self-worth and self-confidence among the local people were enhanced. Moreover, a lot of treasures as local resources were discovered and recognized.

Ethnic Arts supports the development of local products to meet the markets’ needs as well as introduces their valuable cultures and traditions.
